Da Kanaouenn is a delightfully restored 19th Century granite longère situated in a small hamlet 

surrounded by farmland. Da Kanaouenn offers 2 gîtes, Kerbihan which sleeps up to 6 people + baby 

and Kermeur which sleeps up to 8 people + baby. The gîtes are ideal for larger groups of up to 14 people 

 who like to holiday together or somewhere for a family group to celebrate a special occasion. 

Situated in an idyllic location, just 10 minutes from Josselin, 30 mins from Vannes and 50 mins 

from Carnac, Da Kanaouenn is perfect for relaxing, walking, cycling or as a base to explore the beautiful 

countryside, medieval towns or some of Brittany’s spectacular coastline, not to mention the famous Nantes 

to Brest to Canal which is just 10 minutes away.

At Da Kanaouenn, your enjoyment and safety are our highest priority. The gîtes were totally renovated 

during 2004 and newly furnished throughout. The Kitchens are superbly equipped and we pride ourselves 

on the level of cleanliness throughout. The gîtes are fitted with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and fire 

blankets to BSI specifications and each gîte has a safety stair gate. 

We are keen gardeners and our guests can enjoy a wide range of plants and shrubs including our spectacular

 geranium displays (We have been prize winners for the last two years in the local village floral competition.) 

Your children can play in the barn, with table tennis, a small bar football table and an assortment of outdoor 

and boxed games, or play badminton at the top of the orchard area. There is a book corner with a wide 

selection of paperbacks and a number of reference books on Morbihan and Brittany. For the less energetic 

the lawned ‘quiet’ area at the front of the property is ideal for the adults to have morning coffee 

and croissant or a glass of wine later in the day!

Our local village Reguiny (3 mins) has all day to day requirements with a supermarket and garage 

(open Sunday morning), 2 boulangeries, 2 banks, chemist, newsagents, 2 restaurants and several bars. 

The new swimming pool complex has recently opened and includes indoor and outdoor heated pools 

and a Spa. Why not stroll around the beautiful lake and visit the charming World War 2 museum, 

 nearby there are tennis courts and a crazy golf. 

From spectacular sandy beaches to forests & lakes .’ Da Kanaouenn’ with its ideal location, offers you the

perfect opportunity to explore this diverse region of Brittany.

For those interested in bird watching, we are only 45 mins from the bird reserve at Séné (as featured in Bird 

Watching Magazine Aug 2004), which has proved very popular with some of our 

guests .

available for help and advice.
