‘Agree completely with all the previous comments about gite and Marian & Nick’s hospitality, particularly the advice. We visited a variety of places and given that we have a young family we particularly enjoyed; Vannes Aquarium & Butterfly Garden; Vannes Market (Wed/Sat); Auray & St Goustan, particularly the carousel in Auray & the train ride between Auray & St Goustan; La Ferme Du Monde at Carentoir ( pony rides, roaming goats & llamas, puppet show, train ride etc.); Piriac-sur –mer (lovely little beaches & lots of nice cafes-though obviously with 3 young children we didn’t go in any of them!). Our favourite places were the municipal beach area at Conleau, south of Vannes- it is excellent for young children(playground little beach café, toilets, salt water/sand enclosed swimming ‘pool’ with fish & little crabs, shaded picnic area with tables) and a little beach area south of of Mouserian which is excellent for the kids to potter collecting shells, rock pooling etc. Fantastic holiday we hope to come back’ Mr & Mrs E from Hampshire |
