Historic Brittany
Blessed with rich Celtic heritage, Morbihan offers a unique
blend of history. A region of myth and legend, visit the
famous megaliths of Carnac, the stunning chateaux, or
simply explore the medieval towns and cities with their
beautiful churches and cathedrals.
Fetes and Festivals
It is hardly surprising that in a region with so much culture,
Morbihan plays host to some of the mos famous fetes
and festivals in France. Music, dance and food all play
their part in villages, towns and  cities across the area.
Highlights include the Inter-Celtic festival at Lorient,
with its celebration of all things Celtic, and the Week of
the Gulf of Morbihan, a unique reminder of the nautical
 history of Southern Brittany.
